Large Energy Corporation looking for a System Administrator to work in Plymouth.
   
Mandatory Technical Skills Required
Support level knowledge of AIX V4, AIX V5
Installation and Support of IBM PSeries Technology - LPAR configuration, HMC Management, NIM Installs, VIO configuration
IBM UNIX server hardware technologies and configuration, including fault tolerance, redundancy, RAID technologies, performance monitoring
TCP/IP protocols including FTP, HTTP
Working knowledge of AIX scripting.


Desirable Technical Skills Required
Support level knowledge of AIX V6
TSM client/server (and other backup) technology
Disaster Recovery Experience
Implementation & Support of HACMP V5.4
Understanding of SAN technologies
Experience of Samba, Cifs & NFS


Mandatory Business Skills Required
Accurate documentation skills.
Good communicator.
Ability to engage with applications support teams and business users.
Ability to work alone and as part of the team. Working to deadlines and within SLA constraints


Desirable Business Skills Required
Appreciation of business application criticality/availability.
Working within change management procedures.
