Large Energy Corporation looking for a System Administrator to work in Bexleyheath.

Description of Work
Work within DCINTEL team as backfill for a Redevelopment Project resource. The team has responsibility for operational support for over 700 application servers. The role will include support of the hardware, operating system and layered products. The applicant will also be expected to cover 2nd line support for any Problem Records assigned to the team.

Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Backup/Recovery and Data Protection
McAfee ePolicy Ochestrator ~ Enterprise Anti-Virus Administration
Microsoft Security Patch Management
Structured Query Language (SQL) and Database Basics


Desirable Technical Skills Required
Knowledge of other patching solutions (e.g. Shavlik NetChk).
Remote control technologies (Radmin, HP iLO, Terminal Services).
Appreciation of tiered application solutions and interoperation.
Technically conversant (between other support teams e.g. Unix, DBA, etc).


Mandatory Business Skills Required
Accurate documentation skills.
Good communicator.
Ability to engage with applications support teams and business users.
Ability to work alone and as part of the team. Working to deadlines and within SLA constraints.
