DEPUTY MANAGER-GREAT OPPORTUNITY - Hampstead
A wonderful opportunity!! This role is suitable for someone who is wanting to eventually manage a nursery and as such will have shared responsibility of the smooth running of this nursery in a wonderful location.
You must have a solid working knowledge of all aspects of the curriculum as the nursery prides itself in its exciting new ideas for the childcare and education within the nursery. There will be dedicated curriculum leaders, teachers, artists and senior mentors to motivate and promote these ideas. And understanding of the ?arts will be helpful but not necessary.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
-- To achieve and maintain high standards of care
-- To assist in managing the staff team
-- To ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to at all times
-- To work in partnership with parents
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
-- NNEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent
-- 3 years post-qualification experience and 2 years relevant supervisory experience
-- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to targets and deadlines
-- Knowledge of OFSTED standards & EYFS
-- Good communication skills
-- The ability to lead and motivate a staff team
-- Knowledge and understanding of equal opportunities
