Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst with SAS and Excel skills is required by our West Midlands, Solihull (nr Birmingham) based retail financial services provider to provide key risk and collections reporting and management information. This will include the production of key MI reports and the design, implementation and maintenance of structured databases and reports and the development of automated tools using SAS and/or Excel. To be considered for this Data Analyst role you will have good SAS base, Macro and Excel experience to include advanced formulae, referencing and data manipulation. Your commercial experience will include data analysis duties, maybe in credit risk, collections or marketing within financial services, data warehousing or even insurance. In addition to technical ability, you will be numerate and have excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to work with minimum supervision, You will be diligent, have attention to detail and be able to prioritise and organise effectively. Experience of SQL, MS Access, Visual Basic, Business Objects or other reporting tools would be a bonus but is not essential.
