Job Role This company have an ongoing requirement for senior engineers that will enable them to further develop their design and project management skills across a range of project types and for a diverse client list. Whilst emphasis is placed on quality of design and delivery you will be expected to contribute to the planning of future workload and be given opportunity to develop your inter-personal and client-facing skills. Projects which you will ultimately become responsible include major new-build hospitals, city centre office developments, hotel, leisure and industrial projects along with civil and structural engineering support to major urban regeneration programmes involving residential, commercial, leisure and brown field remediation and development. Key SkillsHonours Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering. Chartered Membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or Civil Engineers (MICE) or equivalent SER Registered or commitment to work towards SER Registration. Proven track record in quality design of buildings with associated infrastructure to the highest standard. Experience of having managed a number of projects and have good organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision. Self-motivated with the ability to build rapport with members of the design team. You will have demonstrated the ability to work within budget, to control costs and manage change control to ensure that additional work is paid for. Familiarity and experience of engineering design and drafting software, eg Autocad, design analysis software, NBS and familiarity with the Microsoft suite of projects
