My client is actively looking for a Solutions Architect who has extensive proven experience creating solutions based on Cisco technologies within the Government and Defence Sector. You should be cleared to at least ?SC? clearance and it is advantageous to hold or have held ?DV? clearance. You should be based in and around the M4 Corridor (South/South East/Soputh West UK) and have access to most Government and Defence locations.
With a minimum of eight years experience in a combination of business and technical architecture consulting/systems integration and IT roles, the ideal candidates will have a complete technical architecture knowledge based on Cisco technologies. Responsible as part of the team for crafting and delivering business value justification, solution architecture and integration, business process change, IT/Business governance, and organisational change management.
You should have come from a technical background, CCNP/CCIE and have at ability to turn a customer requirement into a deliverable solution. Not only should you know core LAN, WAN solutions, but have knowledge of at least two other areas like Security, Data Centre, OSS, IPT, Middleware and Applications. You should have experience in areas including business process design and governance e.g. ITIL and eTOM. My client requires candidates who are flexible to travel (potential UK/EU) and wants to join an expanding small team in a truly international company.
