The Role
The Senior Commercial Manager will have single point responsibility for the provision of the commercial management service on a large, complex leisure project. You will also be responsible for managing, leading and developing a team of cost and commercial practitioners ensuring and maintaining high quality levels of service.
The individual will be required to lead a team of quantity surveyors and will be reporting to the Project Director.
Candidates Requirements - Will be able to demonstrate:
-- Extensive experience working as a Senior Commercial Manager
-- Substantial experience of procurement and contract management.
-- Experience of quantity surveying in the international construction industry
-- An even balance between pre and post contract experience
-- Good presentation skills and attention to detail in reporting
-- Excellent interpersonal, communication and client care skills
-- A lengthy track record of drafting, letting and administering contracts such as but not limited to FIDIC, NEC, NEC3
-- Experience gained in a professional practice or consultancy environment
-- Demonstrable experience of successful contribution to and delivery of major projects :
-- MRICS qualified in quantity surveying
-- BSc in quantity surveying
