SEO Engineer sought to join our industry leading client s team of SEO consultants. You ll be involved in all the aspects related to search marketing for a variety of customers across all sectors. Youll also be involved in evolving tools for SEO analysis and implementation.
Youll be analysing and appreciating client website limitations > considering usability and design considerations > conducting competitor and sector analysis > applying web analytics > and evolving bespoke SEO strategies in line with clients marketing plans.
Implementing the SEO strategies will involve:
Extend and integrate web content
Provide instructions for site optimisation through articulate communication
Involvement in the delivery of training for clients and colleagues
Follow procedure and methodology when sourcing relevant links for client websites
Your technical skills will include:
High level of knowledge of SEO indexing capabilities and ranking methods
Website build - HTML, DDA, Javascript
We Administration - UNIX, Apache, DNS, Log files
Appreciation of CMS and dynamic URL s
Appreciation of web analytics and techniques
Keeping up with changes in SEO community
Researching new methods and processes to continually improve Barracuda methodology
People skills required:
Strong Communication skills
Ability to cope with competing demands
Excellent time management
Positive attitude
Flexibility to work independently and part of a team
Ideally you will be educated to degree level and have 18 months of hands on SEO experience. Programming in Coldfusion, PERL, ASP, PHP and knowledge of XML and RSS will also be beneficial as will exposure to CRM software.
