2nd/ 3rd level networking security support/ engineer required to join widely successful Security Managed Service specialist. Role will involve a blend of office/ client site support engagements (60/40 split).This is not a traditional boring reactive support role- a successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work within this challenging and varied environment. Mix of internal/ external support/ development, administration and management of variety of technical systems. Career development and continued training provided. Must have current experience working within a commercial support environment 2nd/ 3rd line experience required. Including high volume calls, support escalations, administration, onsite site troubleshooting etc. Must be knowledgeable on Lan/ wan, routing/ switching, Perimeter firewalls, configuring access controls, Web content filtering, Web proxys, Anti virus. Using Windows 2000,2003, XP and Unix. Must also have support experience using one for more of the following vendor security products; Cisco, Juniper, Check Point. Previous experience using network monitoring tools such as SNMP or Nagios would be of advantage This is a UK based role only- impeccable English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential.
