Big brand company offering a funky working environment comparative to that of a marketing agency is searching for a database executive to join their team. Working on direct marketing campaigns, providing target lists from a large customer database exceeding 20 million records, this position will offer considerable room to grow for the future and within one of the UKs top employer brands.
Role: Database Marketing Executive
Location: Reading
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000
Benefits: Bonus 10%, pension, healthcare, life assurance, season ticket loan, 22 days annual leave
THE ROLE
--    To use campaign selection tools to extract target lists for direct marketing campaigns in accordance to targeting strategies and selection rules
--    Work closely with campaign managers, product managers and direct marketing team to agree targeting strategies and advise on delivery capabilities
--    Work on a variety of acquisition, retention, cross sell and up sell campaigns across a wide variety of products and services, both through on and offline campaigns
--    Analyze and track performance of campaigns, utilize insights gained to assist in the targeting strategies for future campaigns to improve overall performance and response rates

KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
--    Experience in database marketing and its use in campaign management and direct marketing
--    Good mathematical background
--    Experience working with a reasonably large database of customers or prospects and providing targeting strategies for this customers in direct marketing campaigns
