Our client has recently launched a new web 2.0 venture. This website is an innovative, interactive business reviews directory and social community. The website has seen traffic and engagement grow at a faster rate than any of its competitors since launch in April and is looking to build upon this initial success. There is, therefore, a need for an experienced, entrepreneurial marketing manager to help the company market the product and further engage their community. The success of this website is based on the belief that there is a better way to do business. This business reviews directory enables companies to better manage their reputations and build strong relationships with their customers. The site highlights the UKs best and worst companies?as rated by their customers. The initiative holds the potential to fundamentally change the way people use the Internet for business, similar to the way that Ebay and Google previously changed online behaviour for consumers You will be required to formulate and execute the marketing strategy on a day-to-day basis. The role will involve PR, brand positioning, community engagement and viral marketing. Our client is not just looking for an experienced Marketing manager. You need to possess the gravitas and entrepreneurial flair to excel in a fast paced, ambitious web start up.
