Business Development Executive/ Telesales/ Telemarketer We have a position for a Business Development Executive for a market leading organisation based in Congleton. The primary purpose of the role is to work with a designated field Sales Executive to ensure that the business successfully implements its sales strategy and exceeds its sales target. As a Business Development Executive you will use the companys internal systems, knowledge of its products and services plus your market knowledge to identify and develop new sales opportunities with both existing and potential customers. You will offer existing clients a high level of customer service and account management that will ensure that new revenue streams are identified leading to improved customer retention rates and account profitability. Job Content/Description Sales target To achieve the sales target for your area by creating a pipeline of sales opportunities and working with your sales executive to ensure they are converted to profitable invoiced sales. To personally sell Company products and services where appropriate. Sales and Marketing Database Maintain the databases in line with the businesses procedures in order to maximise sales opportunities and support sales activities. To carry out market research to increase the number of prospects in your territory and to record against each new prospect information on the sites facilities. To identify and record when customers and prospects are next likely to purchase equipment or undertake a renovation / new build project. To carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys to support effective planning of sales and marketing activity. Outbound Calls Maintaining required number of quality outbound calls Ensure all outbound calls are completed in a professional manner and comply with Company telesales guidelines and that sales techniques employed do not jeopardise the businesses reputation or future prospects. To generate the required level of quality sales team appointments Plan sales executives work load to ensure that sufficient time is allowed for customer calls and that route plans between calls are cost effective. Ensure the sales executives receive notification of all appointments made promptly and in line with current business procedures. Accurately record all contacts to the company database system Carry out telesales campaigns to agreed volumes and timescales. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries generated by outbound calls. Develop ideas and make suggestions for future telesales campaigns. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through account support, and liaison with other internal departments. Suitable candidates for this Business Development role will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful telephone selling and account management. It is anticipated that the successful individual will have experience as Business Development Executive/ Telesales/ Telemarketer etc. This position carries a salary of £15,000 plus bonus. The location s commutable from Congleton, Macclesfield, Kidsgrove, Northwich, Middlewich, Leek, Crewe, Sandbach, Stoke On Trent, Wilmslow and areas of Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
