Leading Telecommunications business is seeking a key Financial Modeller/ Business Analyst
to provide commercial and financial support to Management in ensuring financial governance and the implementation of accurate reporting.
Working with a small team and cross functionally across other business units, the key mandate of the Financial Modeller/ Business Analyst will be to review operational and financial processes, subsequently playing an integral part in the re-engineering and re-design of new models in Excel to align with business growth and efficiency to ultimately aid financial, strategic and operational decision-making.
Integral to your role as Financial Modeller/ Business Analyst will be detailed analysis and reporting including comparison of actual, budget and forecast, identification and resolution of any risks associated with financial and commercial projects.
Candidates will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with demonstrated business analysis and modelling experience around business and financial improvement, process improvement and reengineering initiatives. Exposure to business case scenarios and financial appraisal/analysis is preferred and a strong flair for systems maintenance and enhancement is essential, as are advanced Financial Modelling and Excel skills (ideally to VBA level). Candidates will be comfortable getting involved in the hands-on analysis as well as working with the bigger picture across senior stakeholders.
