We are currently looking to appoint a Health Claims Clinician to work on a full-time basis in Croydon, Surrey.
You will be responsible for managing health claims for a large insurance based organisation, as a Health Claims Clinician your core work will be managing complex and large loss claims and organise appropriate client/patient treatment and care. Your job will be to liaise with providers and patients throughout the course of claims, managing treatment plans referring to the Chief Medical Officer where appropriate, utilise clinical recourses and ensure an efficient, effective rehabilitation process.
You will have a clinical background and have experience of communicating at all levels. You will need to have exceptional verbal communication skills and be able to provide advice and guidance on medical conditions and surgical procedures. You will work to best practice and ensure exceptional levels of customer care throughout the claims process.
You will need to be highly motivated, assertive and knowledge of insurance procedures would be beneficial although is not essential. In addition you will need to be computer literate, have strong administrative skills and be able to communicate at all levels using medical terminology.
This role is site based in Croydon, no external travel will be required and a competitive salary will be available to the successful applicant.
