Our client, a prestigious private hospital located in central London, is looking for a Senior Staff Nurse in Adult Surgery.
This is a full time permanent position with excellent benefits for the successful candidate.
You will be providing mangement and leadership to all staff in the absence of the Sister. You will be also be able to assess, plan deliver and implement a high standard of nursing care, responding to induvidual needs.
Areas of general responsibility include; being able to demonstrate good clinical practice at all times and be accountable for your own actions, an ability to prioritise workloads and direct staff accordingly.
You will be making effective use of available resources, promote good team work, and be able to assess, plan and deliver care, based on induvidual patient and family care.
Other duties include supporting and acting as a role model for junior staff, ensuring equipment os in good working order and being responsible for the control, storage and administration of drugs.
- Experience/Qualification in specialty.
- 2 years post registration experience.
- Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures.
- Evidence of professional and personal development.
- Evidence of updating clinical skills/knowledge.

- NMC Registered Nurse level 1.
- UKCC Registration and PREP requirements.
- Phlebotomy training desirable.
- Health and Safety Training.
