Electrical Engineer - Design. £25k - £35k + Bonus. Bristol.

An exciting opportunity to join our market leading client. As an Electrical Engineer you will work as part of a team supporting the development, design and manufacture of PLC based control systems. You will have a minimum qualification of an HNC in electrical engineering or a related discipline and have at least three years experience. Experienced in the use of CAD for electrical schematic creation (AutoCAD or RS Wire / Promis-e) and assembly drawings.
Activities will include:
- design and development of PLC control systems
- Resolving production and customer quality issues
- Cost / benefit analysis of design solutions
- Optimisation of electrical panel design
- Preparation of production documentation for new and existing products
- Creation of bills of material
- Supervision of prototype product fabrication
Some international travel may be required.
