Lead Commercial Director of Gulf Region - Civil Engineering Consultancy

The Group has doubled in size over the past few years and from its UK headquarters currently controls a worldwide network of 80 offices, of which 40 are in the UK. The main international centres are located in China, Hong Kong, India, SE Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Southern Africa.
The Role
You will be brought into the company as the commercial director to form a new commercial department for the gulf region. It will be your responsibility to establish the department, bring on staff to work below you, put structures and policies in place to facilitate successful growth of the department, this will entail tendering and winning business throughout the emirates and the gulf.
What They Look For
-- You will come from a Quantity Surveying background with around 20+ years experience
-- Fully Chartered - i.e. - MRICS/FRICS/AIQS etc
-- Vast Experience on various civil projects including - Roads / Bridges / Utilities /   Infrastructure / Groundwork
-- Experience handling claims / dispute resolution and arbitration - Desirable
-- Clear Fluent English a Must
-- Ideally from a consultancy background - Not essential.
-- Gulf Experience - Extremely desirable
