Our client is a leading Flow Assurance consultancy based in London.We are looking for experienced Flow Assurance Engineers (Engineer, Senior and Principal / Lead level) to join our highly-regarded company. You will work closely with blue chip oil & gas clients, adding value in the early phases of project development: conceptual design, FEED, and some carry through into detailed engineering. Responsibilities: * The delivery of flow assurance design in accordance with the relevant industry codes and standards whilst meeting best engineering practice * The coordination of flow assurance engineers across the group, ensuring appropriate allocation of resources * The provision of highly professional services tailored to meet the needs of our clients * Ensuring all calculations and design work is prepared in accordance with the Quality Management System * Coordination & recommendation of fluid sampling protocols & testing for onshore/offshore capital projects * Quality control of test results * Coordination of fluid characterisation reports * Contribution as required to bids, proposals, client presentations and marketing activity Skills Required: * A bachelors degree in chemical engineering, additional post graduate qualifications would be desirable * 5 - 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry * Hands-on transient thermal-hydraulic modeling / simulation work in the support of the design and operation of offshore facilities including: wells, pipelines, risers, separation and pressure-boosting equipment using OLGA is essential * Proven expertise and capabilities in conceptual design, front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design and operation of both onshore and offshore facilities. This will have been achieved using industry-recognized simulation tools, in addition to OLGA, such as Pipesim (thermal-hydraulics) and PvtSim / Multiflash (PVT analysis). * In addition, proven experience on all main project development phases for at least one major multi-well offshore project (including support for project start-up/commissioning) will be essential. * Experience of the transient thermal-hydraulics analysis and design of single-phase (gas or liquid) systems e.g. for reservoir water injection or gas injection; operation of crude oil or natural gas pipelines is desirable Benefits: * Competitive base salary plus Bonus * Flexible leave arrangements * Additional leave entitlements * Generous training provisions * International relocation allowances Map2 is a preferred supplier to market-leading consultancies in a number of niche engineering sectors throughout the UK.
