The Main Responsibilities will include
Installing and configuring desktop systems in a networked environment.

1st / 2nd Line Support
Installing and configuring desktop systems in a networked environment.
-- Windows 2000, 2003 & XP Professional
-- Microsoft Office applications, MS Exchange 2000 & 2003 and other common office applications (Internet Explorer, Adobe, MS Project, MS Access etc.)
-- Active Directory account administration
-- PDA & Blackberry setup & configuration
-- Video conference equipment setup
-- Electronic presentation facilities
-- Remote access facilities
-- Printers
-- Telephones (mobile and desktop) and faxes
-- Voice network facilities
-- Hardware & software asset management
The following skills/experience would be highly desirable:
-- Knowledge of the oil & gas industry
-- Knowledge of Cisco Unity systems
-- Knowledge of Backup Exec
-- Software scripting experience
-- Experience of providing first line support in a Service Desk environment
-- Exposure to third line support of mobile phones, networks, servers etc.
-- ITIL Foundation qualification
-- MCP qualification or equivalent, and working towards gaining a MCSE/MCSA qualification.
Other essential skills:
-- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-- Excellent telephone manner and customer facing skills
-- Experience in working in a highly processed way
-- Ability to work in isolation or as part of an integrated team
