Assistant Civil Engineer
Outline of role
To act as a design assistant in the field of water engineering, taking on elements of design under the supervision of senior civil engineers.
Qualifications required
Recognised academic qualifications, BEng, MEng or similar. To be working towards a recognised professional qualification and membership of ICE or CIWEM
Experience required
Experience and knowledge in the design of sewage and clean water treatment works. Knowledge in general water and wastewater engineering. Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors Familiarity with relevant software packages such as MS Project, Word, Excel, etc and some knowledge of AutoCAD would be beneficial.
