COMMERCIAL BUSINESS MANAGER

Our clients combined companies turnover EUR250m and with over 1700 staff provide innovative specialist technical services to the nuclear industry focussed on new build, plant life extension, and decommissioning.
The Client is growing its international business unit to market the new brand, win project opportunities and identify the most appropriate means of delivery from one or more of the Groups companies. International growth by acquisition and the setting up of local subsidiaries is also likely.
This ICM is the commercial and contractual custodian for international projects. Working alongside the Group Director the successful candidate will develop strategies, set up and manage all commercial and contractual operations and provide advice to all stakeholders.
Duties:
* To be responsible for ensuring all contracts outside France and the UK have appropriate terms and conditions to enable the client to manage its risks
* To personally lead important contract negotiations
* To assist with the marketing and commercial strategies
* To establish key commercial relationships
* To advise the company on changing contractual processes
* Close liaison with Procurement in the letting of suitable contracts to third parties
* Preparation of contract letters to clients and subcontractors
* Management of compensation events and claims
* Interface with internal and external clients
Required Qualifications:
* Degree qualified, or equivalent, in a relevant subject
* Fluent written, reading and spoken English is essential
* Complete PC literacy in Microsoft
* Driving licence
* Flexibility to travel internationally will be required
