Our client are a Soft Furnishings company, they are currently seeking an Import Merchandiser to join their team in Manchester.
Duties:
- Applicants must have worked within a similar role
- Liaise between customer and supplier to ensure all aspects of the critical path are actioned on time from point of order to ship date
- Help to cover other customer accounts during holiday periods
- Support and contribute to the training of new members of staff
- Raise office issues that cause concern promptly and without cynicism
- Be motivated to take responsibility for problems that you are capable of solving
- Communicate quickly issues that have broader business implications
- Ensure accurate specification sheets are in place to ensure your customers orders can be inputted quickly and accurately.
- Complete a first level check of your customer orders within 24 hours and follow up on discrepancies
- Good communications skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic
