Our client requires a parts advisor to work for a main car dealership in the Essex area. The ideal candidate must have knowledge/experience within the motor trade and previous experience as a parts advisor is an advantage. You must also have excellent communication and customer care skills and the ability to work in a team.

Typical day-to-day tasks include:
-- dealing with customers or mechanics, taking orders in person, over the phone and via email
-- checking availability of parts on computerised stock records   
-- getting parts from the storeroom or warehouse or, if out of stock, ordering parts from suppliers
-- putting orders together, booking couriers and sometimes making deliveries
-- dealing with payments
