Formed in 1995, this independent consultancy offer a wide range of construction health, safety and CDM services. Main clients include local authorities, housing associations, developers and contractors, with whom the company have built solid long-term relationships. As they are constantly evolving to provide further services, ensuring that they remain a genuine one-stop-shop health and safety consultancy, they are now looking to appoint a Health and Safety Adviser/CDM Coordinator. JOB TITLE: Health and Safety Adviser/CDM Coordinator LOCATION: London, SE SALARY: £28k - £30k + Car Allowance, Pension, Professional Fees and Additional Training to achieve CMIOSH status. Working from the Eltham office, the successful health and safety professional will be required to manage a varied level of health and safety and CDM projects, attend design meetings, liaise with clients and contractors and assess and comment on health and safety risk assessments and method statements. The geographical spread of work is mainly the South East and Midlands, with occasional work in Cornwall and Devon in the South, and Liverpool in the North, and types of work includes demolition, new build and refurbishment, and social housing projects with value of works from £10k to £100 million +. You will have a minimum NEBOSH General Certificate, and at least 1 year in a similar role. NEBOSH Construction, and construction health and safety experience is a distinct advantage.
