Purchasing Manager - Indirect. £45k to £55k + Bonus. Brighton.

An exciting opportunity to play a key role for a blue chip multi-national. Ideally you will have in depth experience of purchasing and negotiations. You will be responsible for indirect spend and a significant budget across multiple sites. As Purchasing / Commodity Manager, you will develop / implement sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts and supply agreements for indirect products and services. You will have responsibility for developing strategies, managing key supplier and stakeholder relationships, identifying opportunities through spend analysis, justifying and mobilising resources to deliver benefits from strategic sourcing, LCC sourcing, demand management, e-procurement, contract compliance, etc.
Skills:
- Must have a good working knowledge of strategic sourcing and commodity management processes.
- Must have experience of e-procurement
- Must have good analytical skills and be familiar with spend management techniques.
-Must have strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, coordination ability, cost management skills, and innovative problem solving skills.
-Experience of supply market analysis, strategic partnering and complex negotiations is required.
-International purchasing experience will be an advantage.
You will have direct experience in some of the following categories: contract labour, utilities, insurance, travel, facilities management, IM, telecoms, MRO supplies.
