Data Security Analyst - Logistics/Excel/Data - Birmingham ISL is recruiting for a logistics business in the West Midlands for a Data Security Analyst. The Strategic Security Analyst will be responsible for collating data for strategic accounts within the company. This data will be used to highlight any loss trends to act as pre-alert the relevant parties.
Key Tasks/Areas of Responsibility -- The production of reports based on data -- Producing reports on an adhoc basis -- The daily Pro-active interrogation of data to identify potential losses, or patterns of loss at the earliest opportunity -- The communication of potential losses to the relevant parties, working closely with third party security managers -- The production of trend analysis statistics -- Working on projects and where required supporting project work within the department and wider business -- Liaise effectively with all levels or management and other departments -- Providing support and advice across a broad range of disciplines to all branches and levels of management -- Provide ad-hoc support to depots, in the management of security situations -- Reconcile information from various third parties, identifying trends across customers -- Liaise closely with third party security manager to support the investigation of possible thefts This role will suit a graduate level candidate or an individual with 2 years experience in a logistics or data analysis type role. You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to interface with internal and external stakeholders. You will need a great eye for detail and be very capable with Excel and MS Office in general to be able to generate reports and spreadsheets.
