This excellent Embedded Linux development opportunity has arisen with my South Coast based client who Specialises in designing and manufacturing wireless and satellite telecommunications products, with offices throughout the world.
Candidates will have the following skills:
·Device driver development for Linux-based products;
·Working knowledge of the following operation systems: uCLinux for Coldfire microcontroller;
·Experience of the following software languages: C, C++; Python, Perl, Javascript, assembler,
More senior applicants should have some if not all of :
·Team leadership / project management;
·Knowledge of satellite, wireless and telecoms, DVB, MPEG, IP over MPEG, IP network, etc
·Experience of version control system (Subversion);
·Some digital hardware understanding (ADCs, DACs, etc);
·Able to undertake a small degree of travelling.
