Web Developer / Analyst - London - Up to £35,000
(Must have proven analytics experience)
A talented web developer with analytics skills is required by my client who is looking to recruit another developer to join their team. This role is with a leading Usability Agency based in Soho who have a solid base of well known brands as their clients
There are two primary roles described below, but ultimately the work is likely to be wide varied.
Primary role: Work alongside the web analyst team to ensure that analytics packages are correctly installed and configured on clients sites. This will involve implementing javascript tags on client websites and providing instructions for clients to do the implementation themselves. An ability to understand and work around the restrictions of client CMS systems is important as is the ability to interpret the analysts reporting requirements into tagging requirements to ensure the correct information is gathered.
Secondary role: Working alongside designers, the development of HTML elements (web pages, forms, emails, micro-sites etc).   
In addition other tasks are likely to be ad-hoc database tasks, implementation of A/B testing elements, responding to ongoing technical queries, working with content management systems.
Key Technical Skills:
Must have:-
- JavaScript (advanced)
- HTML
- CSS
- SQL
- Knowledge of web analytics (Omniture, Webtrends, Google)
- All round knowledge of Internet Technologies such as HTTP, Webservers, SSL etc
- Accessibility and standards compliance
Nice to Have:-
- Flash and ActionScript
- PHP and or ASP
- Photoshop
- Experience of ecommerce or transactional websites
DBA skills
