Sous Chef, Modern European Brassiere, Covent Garden, Six shifts, £26,000
The Opportunity
As Sous Chef at this dynamic restaurant you will be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the kitchen, with the ability to cover all sections, while helping to create a harmonious work environment for those around you. Over the next few months you will be expected to become familiar with managing the kitchen, a team of up to 14, in the absence of the Head Chef while meeting the required standards.   This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef looking for the next move to Sous Chef as someone with the right experience you will gain a full understanding of the business through everyday involvement in costing, ordering, stock take and monthly specials planning.
Key Skills are: -
Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills
Ability to work under pressure
Experience in similar standard, high volume, fast paced environments
Able to teach and motivate other members of staff
Supervision Skills at Junior Sous Chef level
Excellent attention to detail
A high standard of personal presentation
Confident, professional and welcoming personality
