My client, based in Alton, is an established and highly successful computer software company specialising in the provision of eTransaction Solutions.
They are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Software Developer with first class C# skills. The opportunity is to work for a Microsoft Gold Partner with a continually growing product range.
This role will involve writing detailed specifications, designing, coding and testing of software modules for major system components, with delivery of a high quality end product within the specified time scales the key aim.
It would suit individuals with strong technical and interpersonal skills, with the experience to communicate at all levels across the company and with the ability to express their ideas clearly with individuals at varying levels of technical awareness.   
You will possess an excellent understanding of programming within the Windows .NET environment and its associated .NET framework. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years development experience. This must include at least 1-2 years commercial C# experience along with 2 years experience of developing applications using a relational database, preferably SQL Server. In addition they will possess solid Object-Orientated design skills with appreciation of the challenges of developing commercial off-the-shelf software.
Experience in developing middleware, financial/payment or EDI solutions in a client-server application would be a distinct advantage as would knowledge of one or more of the following COM, XML, UML, ADO.NET and Team system.
Salary package including pension, healthcare scheme, profit share bonus scheme, PHI, and DIS insurance. Salary range: 30k - 40k depending on experience.
