Health and Safety Management Systems Assessors
Awareness of health & safety issues and safety management systems throughout industry is increasing.
As a result, our client now seek a high calibre health & safety professional to carry out assessments, surveillance and approvals for our customers, against the relevant health & safety standards.
You must be qualified to degree level or the equivalent, preferably in a technical subject.
A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hazards and their occupational health & safety risks, including relevant legislation and OHSAS 18001, is essential. Ideally, you will be a registered lead auditor with an appropriate professional qualification such as MIOSH.
This will be complemented by
At least five years health & safety management experience, probably gained through broad exposure to one or more of the major hazard industry sectors.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
A professional, pragmatic and credible business approach.
An extremely high standard of personal presentation.
The job is home based and will involve travel, occasionally abroad, including periods away from home.
