Internals Manager North London Up to 60k plus package U7784
My client is looking for a Manager to oversee all the internal works on the £115m new build Hospital at North Middlesex in North London and the £147m new build Broomfield hospital in Chelmsford. The position will focus on the internal fit out following on from the completion of the structural phase and will cover the management of a team tendering for the individual packages, appointment and then management of sub-contractors through to hand over of works.
The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Ensure effective and efficient production within set timescales and approved costs on site
- Managing the appointment of subcontract packages
- Manage and coordinate work of sub-contractors on site
- Provide regular reports of works progress to the Project Director, reporting any problems which may lead to time delays against works programme
- To liaise with Design team to get enough details, drawings and specification to complete works packages
- Approve extra works, verifying the description and cost of the variation
- Liaise as required with the Building Control Officer and Health and Safety Manager
- To liaise with QA manager to ensure that quality control is properly carried out and recorded to satisfy Independent tester
- Recruit, select and assist in the training and induction of site management team members
- Liaise with the Contract Manager to ensure production is met within approved costs
- To fulfil Health & Safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the Companys Health & Safety Policy Statement, Manual and Safe Systems of Work
- To follow the Companys Equalities Policies in relation to other staff, customers and members of the Group, at a level appropriate to the post
