The successful Contracts Manager will be responsible for planning contracts in conjunction with other departments and subcontractors; they will have managerial responsibility, review estimates and will be heavily involved in designing projects with the client from receipt of order through to final completion. Candidates will be degree qualified in Civil Engineering or will have an equivalent qualification (NHC or HND in Civil Engineering); they will have significant previous experience in a contracts management role in the civil engineering industry and will have excellent managerial, negotiating and people skills. Exposure to Piling, Groundworks, Foundations or Underpinning would be advantageous. Candidates will also be computer literate and have a reasonably clean driving license. The compensation and benefits package is widely negotiable, and will not be a restrictive factor in attracting the right person. It will include a competitive salary and full package.
