This company is a leading UK construction main contractor founded in 1869, operating in the building, civil engineering and related maintenance markets. They are currently looking for a Junior Site Engineer to work on the redevelopment of a large property on the South coast of Cornwall into a 4 star hotel. You will be required to assist in the production of method statements, the use total station, setting out, diary management and basic risk assessment among other responsibilities. Working on various parts of the projects along side the Site Engineer you must be a team player with a strong will to develop your career be it to an established Site engineer. Candidiate should be HND qualified in Construction Engineering or a comparable qualification, be fully conversant in Total Station, Laser & Dumpy Levels and have previous experience working on large-scale schemes. Working initially on a 40 week contract in Cornwall, follow up work could be in any major city in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly successful main contractor, with scope for progression, in a busy, fast moving and demanding environment.
