JOB OUTLINE
Our client - one of the nations leading & innovative Social Housing Contractors seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding Thames Valley team. One key project is a £160 million regeneration scheme including schools, a community centre, leisure and Retail facilities.
JOB DESCRIPTION
To Work towards achieving full technical knowledge appropriate to that of a surveyor
Maintain compliance with Group / Divisional Surveying procedures
Proactively contribute to the project team
To build working relationships with key subcontractors
Assist to maximise entitlement whilst observing Business Stream guidelines on partnering projects
Identify potential disputes in a timely manner to line manager
Aspire to the highest possible standards of subcontract procurement
Accurately value the subcontractor works in accordance with the conditions of their contract
Ensure that external valuation receipts and subcontract payments are in accordance with conditions of contract.
Assist in the preparation of CVC reports, ensuring they accurately reflect the current position on site and the final profit projection,
