Senior Process Engineers

Joint venture company undertaking an Integrated Service Contract. The Contract commenced on 20.04.02 for a period of 7 years, with options to upturn this contract for periods of 12 months. The aim is to provide a wholly integrated service to the North and Central North Sea assets..
To act at all times in accordance with the Statement of Policy on Health, Safety and the Environment. Supervise Discipline and graduate Engineers. Ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly. Ensure that the Client business drivers and company performance incentives are fully understood by all discipline personnel being supervised. Maintain technical integrity within discipline

SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEERS;        
Main Purpose of Job:        
--         To act at all times in accordance with the Statement of Policy on Health, Safety and the Environment
--         Supervise Discipline and graduate Engineers
--         Ensure that all allocated responsibilities are dealt with accordingly
--         Ensure that the Client business drivers and company performance incentives are fully understood by all discipline personnel being supervised
--         Maintain technical integrity within discipline
Reports:        Principle Process Engineer
Key Responsibilities:        ?        Effective maintenance of Performance through HS&E and STOP program
--         Achieve safety standards as defined in personal performance contract
--         Responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance
--         Carry out work in accordance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
--         Ensure that the technical competence of discipline staff supervised is matched to the work in hand
--         Maintain the required technical quality of work produced by discipline assigned staff
--         Ensure that the work output of discipline assigned staff complies with the relevant procedures
--         Ensure as far as practically possible all assigned work is carried out in compliance with agreed budget and schedule
--         Keep up-to-date with technical developments, national and international standards and legislative requirements related to the scope of the discipline
--         Assist in developing the knowledge and skills of the discipline assigned staff, including assisting in the training and technical development of engineers
--         Prepare estimates and assist in the review of proposed schedules
--         Provide technical assistance to other disciplines as required
--         Providing documentation and drawing deliverables for inclusion in workpacks and, or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
--         Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
--         Responsible as a key member of any Project team for achieving the Project target and completion of the Project within the budget and schedule
--         Preparation of engineering and construction scope for both man-hours and equipment estimates where necessary
--         Producing cost effective designs that are fit for purpose and safe
--         Producing workpacks and, or design books on time to meet offshore deadlines
--         Participate as necessary in discussions with Clients and visit job sites as required
--         Assist the Lead Discipline Engineer when requested in the execution of their responsibilities and duties

--         Project Engineers
--         Planner & Cost Estimator
--         Procurement
--         Sub-contracts
--         Development Engineers
--         Commissioning Engineer
Competencies:
--         Degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
--         Relevant engineering experience in the offshore oil & gas industry.
--         Experience in P&ID development and detailed engineering of brownfield facilities
--         Computer fluency with Excel, Word and Powerpoint
--         Experienced in simulation technology wrt HYSIS and other process software such as Pipephase, Pipenet, Flaresim, Flarenet, etc
--         Conform to the agreed values and behaviours.
