Initial 6 month contract with the opportunity for extension

Due to continued success and growth, Intapeople have an immediate requirement for ten electrical draughtsman to work for one of our largest clients in Scotland.
Job Description:
-Electrical Design Draughtsman capable of developing basic system design to detail for production and installation of 2D/3CAD packages
-Development of basic system design drawings / specifications to detail design cabling diagrams, equipment connection details, cable termination schedules and cable routing drawings in either 2D or 3D environment
-Liaising with Professional Engineers during system development
-Production of technical documents and reports
-On - site surveys in support of the development of detail system design.
Essential:
-Either Degree or HND
-Significant experience in design
-Practical Electrical Engineering design experience
-Appreciation of shipyard system production and installation processes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing company who are constantly looking to increase their technical capability. You will be employed initially on a 6 month contract. However, as certain projects will not be completed until 2010, the opportunity for extension is inevitable. Full training will be provided if necessary with the opportunity to learn new packages and develop new skills.
