My client is a reputable service company with a track record of staff development and retention.
Role: Senior Cased Hole Field Engineer. Based in Altens, Aberdeen.
To comply with the Company and Clients, Health, Safety, Environmental, Operational and Quality Assurance Procedures and Instructions
Ensure Personnel under your immediate control conduct their work in accordance with Company and Client approved Practices
Assist clients, when required, in ensuring that Field programmes are correct and that any action taken ensure the correct information is gathered.
Maintaining overall responsibility for all job loadouts
To be able to competently run all of the services within the department, both in
Surface Readout and Memory mode
Mentoring of any Junior Engineers under their supervision.
Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are being followed
Assist the cased hole manager with any JFE Breakout examinations etc.
Actively use the TOPS system as a means of job reporting and tool maintenance.
To ensure that Company Equipment has valid certification is in good condition and
safe for use at all stages of the operation.
Attend Debriefing Meeting with the Cased Hole Services Manager after every job.
Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional, Technical, Academic
Essential:
Educated to standard grade level.
HNC or equivalent in a engineering based subject i.e. (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical)   
Preferred:
SVQ level 2 and 3 Electric line logging.
HND qualification in electro / mechanical engineering.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE
Essential:
Proven oilfield experience in the oilfield environment offshore.
Preferred:
Extensive oilfield electric line logging experience both in the domestic market and over seas.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
Good Electronic, Electrical and Mechanical skills.
Good working knowledge of PC and software.
Good working knowledge of operational equipment and PCE.
Preferred:
Experience with Electric line logging systems
Experience with Sondex logging tools
