We are working with one of the oil and gas industry success stories of recent years. Due to expansion with regard to projects and the opening of new premises, they are looking for recruit a Project Engineer (Mechanical Bias).
Main Responsibilities: Preparation of detailed quotations for project related enquiries including the compilation of all relevant engineering, manufacturing and assembly/testing costs Coordination of all technical documentation which may be required for the bid submission such as drawings and operational procedures Arranging Project Kick-Off meetings upon award of contract Assist with field surveys as required Coordinate all technical documentation required for the project including engineering drawings, test procedures and operational procedures Attend client project meetings and HAZOPs as required Ensuring drawings are received in a timely manner from Engineering to meet project delivery schedule Compile Purchase Requisitions for all manufacturing and assembly components which are required for the project Compile Manufacturing Request Forms for all components associated with the project Submission of drawings to manufacturing department Compile all necessary n house esting procedures Compile Assembly and Test Request Forms and issue Assembly/Test Workpack Coordinate visits by client or 3rd party test inspection to witness testing activities Compile Operational Procedures for offshore scope of supply Compile mobilisation list and advise Operations on deployment requirement for offshore personnel Assist with field deployment as required Compile Manufacturing Record Books Coordinate Revenue Reports upon completion of project Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities: To comply with Integrated Management System when carrying out project engineering tasks To comply with and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported to the QHSE Manager Qualifications Bsc/BEng or equivalent in Mechanically biased subjects Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge Sound engineering background with topside/process/pipeline knowledge an advantage At least 5 years relevant experience within a project orientated working environment Mechanical or fabrication engineering qualification and/or very strong practical background Client liaison and financial awareness skills are essential as part of project engineering Good technical writing skills Above salary depends on experience and may vary (either way)
