Role with a major service company - position based in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen
To exploit business opportunities and ensure that products and services meet the required quality standards, by developing given basic design parameters and producing required Engineering Drawings for use in the Manufacture, Assembly, and Testing of new, or modifications to existing, product lines in order to meet actual or anticipated future customer needs.
The position is one of the main points of contact between the engineers and designers who develop the design parameters based upon the product requirements determined by the sales teams, and the manufacturing plants who make the products in line with the drawings based upon these parameters.
The role is measured by the accurate interpretation of given design parameters into effective designs and drawings that can be used to manufacture the products against time and quality requirements.
