Subsea Draugntsperson

Our client currently has a requirement for a Subsea Design Draughtsperson to be part of a Subsea design draughting team which is primarily involved in the design of a Dive Support System. The individual will be required to work under general supervision, applying draughting techniques to complex designs and assignments using industry standards and codes
--         Create models, engineering drawings and layouts
--         Assist in checking drawings for accuracy and completeness
--         Apply acquired knowledge of relevant engineering principles to complement the design process

Presents self in a professional manner appropriate to the role
Communication Presentation
Articulates views in comprehensive manner
Work Presentation
Produces work of presentable quality

An all round team player
Technical
Must have extensive Design background
Self Management
Good organisational skills and smart working methods

Specified Qualifications for position
ONC or above in an Engineering discipline
Continuing Professional Development
Can articulate learning and training experiences
Extensive draughting experience with a bias towards any of the following four disciplines: Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Hydraulic and P&ID.
Technical Experience
Competent using AutoCAD 2005+ is essential, Solid Works and Inventor also desirable.
Self Managerial Experience
Ability to prioritise work loads
