TEMP-TO-PERM MARKETING MANAGER- CENTRAL LONDON- £115- £120 per day THE ROLE Our client, one of the worlds largest Business-to-Business information providers, is currently seeking a temp-to-perm Marketing Manager to join their world class company. This pivotal role will see the Marketing Manager be responsible for implementing the overall marketing for a division in order to meet sales targets and objectives. The Marketing Manager will be heavily targeted, and the focus will be on creative campaign management and direct marketing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will be assessed by their performance against targets, focussing on bringing revenue into the business and promoting commercial success. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for: -- Budgets/ Financial Reviews- working with other departments and divisions to drive and grow the contribution of books to the business; making commercially aware decisions, accounting for market and business; monitor marketing spend against budget; manage relationships with suppliers to keep costs low -- Marketing for the division - developing an annual marketing plan and timetable of activities; generating sales of current and backlist publications; managing relationships with suppliers, re-sellers and clients; -- Management-providing line management and setting performance targets for members of their team; advising on salaries; developing enhanced lines of communication between other divisions of the business; THE COMPANY Our client has enjoyed year on year success since their formation, and are now one of the fastest growing B2B information providers in the world. They have recently acquired several of the largest B2B information providers in the UK and are looking to continue their growth both organically and through acquisitions and mergers. THE PERSON The Marketing Manager will ideally be degree educated, preferably in a marketing specialism, and further marketing qualifications would be an advantage. The Marketing manager will have had extensive experience in direct marketing in a B2B environment, and will have managed multiple campaigns in a target driven and pressured environment. The Marketing Manager will be: -- Target focussed -- Commercially minded -- Motivated by constantly improving marketing performance -- Confident negotiating at all levels -- An excellent copywriter -- Able to demonstrate a record of working and communicating effectively with other teams -- Able to quickly get to grips with new and sometimes technical markets, and utilise this knowledge in creating rapidly focussed marketing campaigns THE PACKAGE The Marketing Manager will receive £115 to £120 per day, experience dependant, whilst working Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. On occasions, dependant on the current work load and projects, longer hours may be required. Performance will then be assessed and a permanent offer of work for circa £30000 may be made, dependant on job ability and performance against set targets.
