Account Director - Salary to £46k Top 10 central London agency who boast one of the best training programmes in London seek an Account Director to work on a multi-discipline, rapidly growing, international client account. The team is responsible for producing strategic and implementational best practice guidelines for markets globally, the key markets being Russia, Ukraine, Greece, Romania, Spain and Italy. The role involves the direction of global workshops - their development, implementation and management, approximately 4 times a year with key markets. Close co-ordination with the Planner and the clients (at Director level) will be required, so you must feel comfortable with presenting to and working closely with senior clients. A fair amount of European and Asian travel will be involved so a willingness to travel on occasion is needed. Other campaign activity includes new product launches, brand refreshes, global promotions, line extensions, use of global sponsorship properties, event management, etc. The team currently consists of one Managing Partner, one GAD, two ADs, one SAM, 2 AMs, one AE and a graduate AE. It is purposefully a top-heavy team as the nature of the work is very strategic and there is not much implementation work. They client also prefers (and pays for) senior client service. To qualify, your strategic experience needs to be strong. Previous experience of working with pan-European brands is preferable but not essential. You have strong presentation and client relationship skills and are good at handling multiple projects at once with different client contacts.
