Working within a small team, this position will help to support and service a range of customers being supplied with IT hardware/software services including Servers, Workstations, AV Equipment and Security products The key responsibilities of this role will be to provide 2nd and 3rd telephone and remote support to clients throughout the southeast, end user education and training, planning customer projects and evaluation of new technologies. The experience and skills required for this role will be as follows: ·MCSE 2K or above and including Exchange & SQL ·Qualified in VMware (VCP) ·Cisco certification and Terminal Services ·Experience/knowledge of disaster recovery procedures/systems ·Substantial IT experience with networking, network operating systems (Windows 2000/2003 AD), desktop operating systems (Windows XP/Vista), back office applications (Exchange, ISA). ·Database skills, database administration/SQL knowledge and experience. ·Network analysis experience Initiative - able to prioritise and manage own time. ·Flexibility with the ability to learn quickly or under pressure. ·Able to work in a small team with good communication skills both written and oral. ·Excellent communication skills are paramount. ·Courteous and customer focused. Ability to liaise effectively with clients. ·Commercial awareness, able to identify and communicate opportunities for the sales team to seize In return the client is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000 depending on skills and experience along with addition benefits including company pension scheme, Up to 25 days holiday per annum & a discounted company purchasing scheme.
