You will be responsible for:
-- Assisting in the development and operation of traffic and transportation models, traffic management and control systems, and traffic information systems.
-- Monitoring and providing information to a Team Leader and Clients on projects particularly in relation to timescales, cost and quality.
-- Complying with design standards and Quality Assurance procedures
Your skills:
-- You will have relevant technical qualifications ideally incorporated or chartered membership of a relevant technical institution or working towards attainment of accreditation.
-- You will have knowledge of the design and operation of traffic management, control and information systems including SCOOT UTC systems and remote monitoring systems.
-- You will have experience in design and use of SCOOT UTC systems. Experience in the use of transportation simulation models and experience of relevant legislation standards and procedures.
-- Experience in the design and operation of traffic signal junctions and the configuation of traffic signal controllers.
-- Good written and verbal communication skills.   
-- Good working knowledge of current traffic modelling techniques.
-- Computer literate with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office, database packages and GIS Driving Licence.
