The purpose of the post is to substantially grow their business and its profitability, and to be recognised as market leader in several sectors, all of which the applicant would be responsible for (with a particular emphasis on geotechnics, geo - environmental and regeneration). It is expected that the applicant will secure several major new client portfolios a year. A key role will be to identify new consultancy opportunities and develop their capabilities for emerging markets and consolidate others in the UK & Internationally. Currently they deliver a full range of environmental services from their Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. With support from the management team(which is locally managed), you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of delivery, as well as the overall responsibility of the sections of the Scottish offices.
