This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, driven and passionate Commis Chef who wants to join a dynamic business in the area working with Fresh ingredients and cooking Modern British cuisine to high standards. Your role as Commis Chef will involve cooking to the Head chefs standards, learning the Seasonal Menus and ensuring the quality and presentation of all dishes is upheld. The ideal candidate for this position would be a proven Commis Chef from a quality food environment or a fresh keen talented graduate from a Catering College with work experience as a Commis Chef within a fine dining environment who wants to learn from a great Chef within a friendly country Inn environment. This is a very hands on position in a fast paced yet relaxed environment and requires a strong personality and an individual who can work under pressure and handle volume with speed and work well with colleagues as part of a team.
Key Skills are
Ability to demonstrate kitchen and culinary skills
Experience as a Commis Chef in a busy Fresh food environment
Ability to work under pressure in a bustling kitchen
Team player and strong team builder
A high standard of personal presentation
Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
The Rewards
Basic Salary of up to £16,000 per year dependant on experience
