Our clients are looking for a specialist in construction law and practice being a lawyer with not less than 5 years experience in all areas of construction (including residential and commercial development, civil engineering projects and contracts). Their preference is for an expert in both non-contentious and contentious construction law, but will also consider candidates having only non-contentious experience. Accordingly they are looking for candidates having a sound knowledge and understanding of all aspects of construction procurement strategy, contract types, ancillary documentation requirements and appointments of professionals. Candidates offering experience in contentious contract matters should be familiar with all forums for resolving construction disputes particularly adjudication and T&C Courts. Experience of own advocacy at adjudications would be a considerable advantage.
