Recent investment in the service has paid dividends and we are now taking communications and marketing to the next level. We are unifying communications and marketing activities across the Council and need someone to lead the change.
Can you meet the challenge? We are looking for an experienced, qualified professional to lead a small team of communicators and marketers. You will be passionate about improving both external and internal communications throughout the council. You will have significant experience in media relations and crisis management. You must have the ability to devise, implement and evaluate integrated communications and marketing strategies and be used to working with senior managers and partner organisations.
We need someone who is politically aware and enthusiastic with a spark for innovation and a dynamic flair for promoting change as well as an ability to inspire local government communications.
