Online Marketing Assistant

Our client is an innovative tour operator who provides thrilling inspirational weekend breaks for groups of people travelling together either in the UK or overseas.
The company has ambitious growth plans and as a result a vacancy for a Web Marketing Assistant has recently arisen. Reporting to the companys Marketing Manager the successful candidate will be expected to:
*Update the company website via its online Content Management Systems;
*Identify and exploit opportunities to raise the brand profile of the company on 3rd party websites used by prospective candidates;
*Perform daily update of the companys performance management tools, including Google *Analytics, Urchin Stats and other similar systems;
*Prepare weekly online newsletters collating special offers and deals from around the company;
*Undertake training on PPC advertising systems such as Google AdWords and Yahoo Search *Marketing with the aim of keeping marketing spend within agreed limits;
*Write articles, blogs and press releases for posting and dissemination;
*Provide a wide range of ad hoc support to the Marketing Manager as and when required.
The successful candidate will have all or most of the following
*Experience in Google AdWords or Analytics essential
*A keen interest in doing business via the internet and a curiosity about new marketing methods and techniques;
*A degree in a business related subject and or a relevant marketing qualification (i.e. CIM);
*A passion for travel and international business;
*A good understanding of performance analysis tools such as MS Excel;
*Some experience with online advertising methods;
*Confidence with internet content management systems and other web-related tools;
*A highly motivated team player who can work on projects and be trusted to deliver excellent accurate results;
*A hunger to succeed, develop new skills and grow their experience over time;
*Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
This will be a key role with excellent future career prospects for the successful candidate.
Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: £14,000 - £18,000
